HUMA, in partnership with ILRIG, will be hosting a session in the ‘Know your City’ series. ‘Know Your City’ is an initiative with the aim of deepening popular understandings of the history of the city and the ways that history informs contemporary politics.

I am very happy to introduce HUMA’s methodology series for PhDs in the Faculty of Humanities. This series was developed in response to discussions with PhD students and with the support and encouragement from the Dean. The series will deal with questions of methodology and the practicalities that arise from fieldwork research.
